Children and teens are different from adults and need specialized care. That’s why ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ Children's collaborates with Beebe Healthcare to offer pediatric expertise and equipment in southern Delaware.

Here, we combine our advanced pediatric care with Beebe's highly trained nursing staff, pharmacists, therapists and social workers. This cooperation demonstrates our shared belief that kids do better when we work together.

What ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ Offers at This Location

ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ pediatric specialists are available around-the-clock at Beebe for:

• Emergency Department (ED) care — Our pediatric specialists provide consultations for children and teens in the hospital’s ED, as needed. That means Beebe's physicians ask our pediatric specialists for their expertise in order to give children the best possible care from doctors who treat kids every day.
• Newborn care — Our specialists also provide their pediatric expertise, when needed, with consultations for newborns at the hospital’s family-friendly, Mother & Baby Care Center.
• Pediatric unit care — A team of ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ pediatric hospitalists (board-certified pediatricians who are experts in treating hospitalized infants, children and adolescents) provides care in the hospital’s dedicated pediatric suite, with rooms specifically for children and teens.

Additional Services

ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ and Beebe also work together to:

• Facilitate the transfer of extremely ill pediatric children to ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ Children’s Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington.
• Coordinate care, when needed, with our specialists and primary care pediatricians at ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ Children's Health, Milford or ÎÚÑ»ÊÓƵ Children's Health, Seaford.
