As one of the largest not-for-profit organizations devoted to children’s health, ѻƵ invests in programs and services that benefit the health and lives of children. No matter how small or large, your gift is vital to our mission of helping and healing children.
Your gifts advance these endeavors:
- Provide much-needed outpatient psychosocial support for patients in the ѻƵ Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders
- Perform an epidemiologic study to determine the frequency of cytomegalovirus, an infection that can cause several serious medical issues, including hearing loss.
- Helps to fund Angel Eyes, a tool that allows a mother in a separate location to view and talk to their infant in the ѻƵ Children’s Hospital, Delaware NICU.
- Celebrate prom, a special event for chronically ill children in our inpatient and outpatient setting who miss the chance to attend prom with their classmates due to their medical condition or treatment.

Ways to Give
Become a Sustaining Donor
Have an ongoing impact because kids’ health cannot wait. Asustaining donor is someone who gives an auto-renewing donation (biweekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).
Donor-Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows philanthropically inclined individuals, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly traded stock and, in some cases, certain illiquid assets to a public charity.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Did you know that thousands of employers will match donations made to ѻƵ? Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It's an easy way to double your contribution to us.

Corporate Alliance Program
The Corporate Alliance program focuses on partnerships with companies to significantly impact the children we serve. A strong collaboration demonstrates a business’s commitment to the community and increases philanthropic support for ѻƵ through donations, sponsorships and cause marketing campaigns (e.g., point-of-sale, branded products and give-backs).

We have established a Grateful Patient and Family Philanthropy Program to provide opportunities for families to express their thanks for the care their loved ones received at ѻƵ Children’s.
